Mandatory requirements to be employed by AACAFS.

  • All employees at AACAFS must have the right to work in Australia. AACAFS is not able to sponsor work permits for employees.

  • AACAFS is a child-safe organisation. All employees are required to undergo a National Police Check, a Working with Children Check, an Other Agency Check as part of the NSW OCG Residential Care Workers Register and sign our Code of Conduct.

  • AACAFS is committed to providing and maintaining a safe working environment for its employees and client groups, consistent with our obligations under OH&S legislation. Successful applicants are required to provide evidence of vaccination against COVID-19, or proof of medical exemption.

AACAFS is structured to maximise our ability to deliver services at the highest level and to drive growth and impact. We currently have five business units in our organisation.

  • Delivering Children and Family Services to a high standard and in a way that furthers the empowerment of Aboriginal communities.

    • Aboriginal Family Group Conferencing (AFGC)

    • OOHC

    • Integrated Family Support (IFS)

    • Family Preservation

    • Operational running of the services

    • Quality control and monitoring – compliance

  • Growing the capability of AACAFS. Always future focussed to ensure the organisation embraces all opportunities.

    • Future looking projects which further AACAFS mission and purpose

    • Product development (not CQI)

    • Research and evaluation to set high quality standards

  • Active engagement with our stakeholders ensures that AACAFS stays front of mind. Market insights help to identify opportunities for impact and future growth.

    • Agency and funder liaison

    • Meeting reporting requirements

    • Tracking of bids

    • Market analysis to spot emerging opportunities/ risks.

  • Deep engagement with the communities that AACAFS works for, fuels the purpose of AACAFS work.
